We had from 9 to 14 kids for Sidewalk Sonday School this past week. It was held in Tourist Park in Watford City. It was rainy and cool for 3 of the 4 days. You’ll notice it by the way the kids are dressed…especially in the sleeping bag picture. It seemed to be a “adventure” to them.
It was led by Emma McKirdy, her dad Scott, and two other gals from the Spearfish SD. United Methodist Church, Gloria and Lori. It was a great week and the kids learned that Jesus loved them, whether they were different or afraid, no matter what Jesus loved them.
We met some new families and had some kids that had been through the Mobile Free Thrift Center with their parents. We keep making connections and encouraging as many folks as we possibly can.
Thank you Spearfish crew for all of your hard work. It is so appreciated!
I could sure tell at the end of the week that I’m not 20 or even 50 anymore! Much rest now required!
Keep us in your prayers as we continue to meet the needs of new families moving to the Watford City area.
God Bless!
