We’re taking several days to be with family and rest. As we have reflected and talked about the last year in Watford City, we have a deep sense of appreciation for what the Lord has done and how you folks have been a blessing to us.
At our Christmas Celebration last Saturday, we shared how the Christmas message is about love and giving. “God so loved the world, that he gave us his Son.”
Because of how God has loved us and given us the free gift of salvation, we can’t help but reach out to people and share the love God has shown us through giving back to people in need, just as people have reached out to us when we were in need.
Many of you have also given to help us, and others through your volunteer help, prayers, and financial donations.
We say a heartfelt thank you for all you’ve done and how you’ve stood behind us.
We look forward to 2015 and loving and serving the needs of folks in the Watford City area.
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We would like to take this time to thank you for your support this past year and to let you know what your support has accomplished.
We have now helped over 500 families through our ministry here in Watford City. This is well over 1,500 individuals. Amazing!
We have given away over 10,000 items, of which over 1,000 have been winter coats to help those who didn’t have one. We’ve also given away hundreds of pairs of gloves, caps, winter boots for all ages, blankets, heaters, bedding, snowpants/coveralls, the list goes on.
The bottom line is, hundreds of people are warmer and safer today, because you and I cared enough to get involved and help meet the needs of people moving to the “Bakken” from all over the country and 20 countries outside of the U.S.
“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.” Luke 2:14
Our hearts are warmed by your concern, prayers, donated thrift items and monetary support. God Bless you all!
