Watford City, you are incredibly generous with your donations of clothing and household goods and we appreciate you so much! Your generosity keeps our staff and volunteers very busy as they receive, clean, price, sort, hang and transfer items to the store to sell.
As we are getting ready for our Winter-Wear Giveaway, set for Saturday, September 28, we need to pause donations on the days our thrift store is closed. There are tons of coats to inspect, sort and hang and also boots to sort and clean, gloves and scarves to arrange, all to make sure our community stays warm this winter! This event defines Bakken Oil Rush Ministry as the first thing we ever did to serve those in need and we want to make it a priority every year. By the way, if you want to donate your time and help us get ready for this event, or volunteer the day of, please fill out this VOLUNTEER FORM and we will get in touch with you ASAP.
Thank you for your understanding as we know you are all itching to clean out your closets and storage areas. We will still be accepting your gently used items on days the store is open: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10AM – 4:30PM.
